Omkarananda Jayanti - 25th December 2005

As every year, this year too, Omkarananda Jayanti was celebrated on 25th December 2005 at Omkarananda Dharma Samsthan, Mumbai.

The Pooja room and especially Gurudev’s picture was decorated with flower malas on this occasion. Before beginning the Poojas, Smt. Shrilaxmi Shastri lighted the Dipas in front of Gurudev’s picture to seek His blessings.

The famous Pandit and Chief Priest Shri T. Mohanji along with Pandit Shri Mahendra Pratap, Pandit Shri Jagdesh Shastri, Pandit Shri Parthasarathi, Pandit Madhu Rajaram Shastri and Pandit T. Balaram, performed the Rudra Abhishekam and Hawana in the presence of many devotees and invitees.

The function was also attended by children from the neighbourhood, who delighted the audience with their recitation of Guru Shlokas and Bhajans.

As conclusion to the beautiful programme, Bhandara was served to the Priests, devotees and everybody present on this auspicious occasion.
