Mahapandita Sri Vasanta Vishnu Shastri Panshikar, Abaji, was one of the great devotees of Swami Omkaranandaji Maharaj, a brilliant Sanskrit Pandit endowed with the vivid imagination, poetic flair and natural free flowing style of writing and an outstanding teacher to the Ashram youth. He was a master at composing Shlokas and other forms of devotional poetry in Sanskrit. By Divine Inspiration, his heart was overflowing with compositions in the form of humns, some of which have been recorded on these 2 CDs by the initiative of Sri Madhu V. Shastri and his family, and by the great effort of the most skilled singers and musicians of Panshikar family.
