Prof. Dr. J.L. Gupta is
welcomed in
OIMT in the traditional Vedic way. |
Belonging to one of the most leading
Educationists of India, Prof. Dr. J.L. Gupta has the credit of
making Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, seven times
the Number One College among the 10 best Colleges in India,
according to the survey of "India Today".
After this successful journey, the Government
of India requested him to take over the Vice-Chancellorship of
Chhattisgarh University, Raipur. There he served his full term.
Presently, he has accepted the post of Director in a prestigious,
international Commerce Institute in Gurgaon.
Prof. Dr. J.L. Gupta, in spite of his immensely
high position, is a very God-fearing, humble and saintly type of
personality. It was in fact he who had
recommended Gurudev's wish for a true Management Institute in this
area of Muni-ki-reti, on the feet of the Himalayas, to the AICTE
authorities in Delhi for the final approval.
Seeing the Omkarananda Ashram Temples and the
activities in the field of Education, provided by Omkarananda
Ashram Himalayas, Prof. Dr. J.L. Gupta was more and more attracted
by the devotion, discipline and purity of Paramahamsa Shri Swami
Omkarananda's disciples.
On request of the President, Shri Swami
Vishveshwarananda, and the Management, Prof. Dr. J.L. Gupta has
kindly accepted to be the Chief Advisor of the entire Educational
Setup of Swami Omkarananda and his disciples. Indeed it is a great
privilege for the whole educational functioning, for the teachers
as well as the students of the Omkarananda Educational
Institutions, to have the highly valuable advice of this
experienced Professor, honourable Dr. J.L. Gupta.
During his visit to Omkarananda Institute of
Management & Technology, on 12th and 13th June 2010, Prof. Dr.
J.L. Gupta interacted with teachers and students and held a
successful meeting with the Management.
Everybody was delighted to be with him and
to have his experience and advice.
