It was a proud moment for our Inter-College, Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, Muni-ki-Reti, having at present 2500 students, when an ex-student, Miss Suman Rawat, qualified for the prestigious Indian Administrative Service Examinations 2009, securing the 44th rank on all India basis. A couple of years ago another student of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, Chhavi Bhardwaj, too, qualified for the Administrative Service Examination, at that time securing the 11th rank from all participants of whole India.

Suman was a student of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam from Class Nursery up to Class 12. She belonged to the ISC Batch of 2002. While in school, she was very diligent, obedient, disciplined and sincerely carried out the tasks that were given to her. Besides being good at academics, she also participated in various co-curricular activities conducted at different levels.

The Principal of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam
Inter-College, Col. Sachdeva, congratulates Suman Rawat
for her remarkable success.
Suman Rawat is being interviewed by a team
of students of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam

Suman participated in an International Science Fest (QUANTA) held at CMS Lucknow in 2001. She was also the School Captain and turned out to be the best and the most dynamic Captain so far of the school.

On behalf of the Principal Col. (Retd.) D.L. Sachdeva, teachers and staff, Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam felicitated Suman in a special School Assembly with a bouquet.

During this occasion Suman addressed the school-students and she also expressed her deepest gratitude to the Founder of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, Shri Swami Omkarananda, to the President, Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, to the Principal and Teachers for helping her to get great success in life.

The school feels proud of its jewel, Suman.
